The commission needs to hear from the supporters of the project so that they know members of the community are behind the restoration effort and want them to take the necessary actions to allow the specifics of the project to continue to be developed and presented to the voters in the project area in the spring. We realize there is still uncertainty on the exact funding mechanisms, cost, etc., but the fact that we support beach restoration as a concept is what the commission needs to hear now.
